Securing a Small Office/Home Office LAN
Posted: 03/05/2001
Abstract:
PCs in the home that are connected to the Internet via dial-up or dedicated connections are vulnerable to intrusion. But while the threats are very real, a big part of the solution is easy and inexpensive. This presentation talks about some of the security risks of dial-up, ADSL, and cable modem connections, as well as ways to reduce the risks.
