Abstract:
The Lippis Report is a venue for industry interaction and dialog. Through this vehicle we will define the new communications industry and together we’ll navigate through it. The Lippis Report is written for architects, builders and managers of enterprise networks, as well as those providing products and services to the enterprise. We strongly encourage you to interact and learn with us, and your peers, about important technical industry issues. Our goal is to provide a forum to discuss and debate industry activities, developments and technologies exclusively from the enterprise perspective.
About the author:
Nick Lippis is a world-renowned authority on corporate computer networking. With over 15 years experience, he has designed some for the largest computer networks in the world. He has advised many Global 2000 firms on network strategy, architecture, equipment, services and implementation including Hughes Aerospace, Barclays Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Eastman Kodak Company, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Liberty Mutual, Sprint, MCI, Cisco Systems, and Nortel Networks. Nick received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering respectively from Boston University. Contributing to his graduate degree was course and theses work on optical systems at MIT and MIT Lincoln Laboratories.
