7) What do I do if none of the above work?

1) Why doesn't my username work???

On September 20, 2002, we cleaned up our registration files.  We found that many users had multiple registrations with the same email address.  Where there are multiple registrations with the same address, only the most recent username and password are still valid.  If you think you fit into that category, please click here to access our new username lookup/password reset facility.

2) You get email from Webtorials.Com, but your username and password do not appear to work.

Where there are multiple registrations with the same address, only the most recent username and password are still valid.  This process will send you an email specifying the username that is associated with your email address, plus a new password.  The email will also tell you how to change your password.

If you think you fit into that category, please access our new username lookup/password reset facility by clicking here. Make sure you use the same email address for the lookup as is specified at the bottom of an email from Webtorials.Com.

Hint: Please note that the new password you receive will be a randomly generated set of characters.  In order to avoid confusion with situations like the number 0 and the letter O, we recommend that you copy and paste the password.

3) You want to change your email address

It is not possible to have one username with two different email addresses.  So your current account must be made inactive in order to activate the new one.  The fundamental process here is to unregister and reregister.  Unregistering temporarily frees your username so you may reregister with your same name.  Once you have reregistered, you will be sent an email with a link to activate the reregistered account.  At this time, you may set your password.

To access this process, you will have to be logged on to Webtorials.Com.  If you have a valid email address and cannot log on, go back to situation #2 above and get a working username and password.

To start this process, click here.

4) You want to revert/change to a different username or change anything except your email address.

This process requires an update for your information, but you do not have a problem with specifying an email (yours) that is already in use. (If you simply reregistered, your email address would be rejected.)  You may specify a new username, or you may continue to use your existing username.  It's your choice.  Your password will not be changed in this process.

To access this process, you will have to be logged on to Webtorials.Com.  If you have a valid email address and cannot log on, go back to situation #2 above and get a working username and password.

If you want to use a different username or update other information with your existing email address, simply click here.

5) I only want to change my password.

This is an easy one. Click here.

To access this process, you will have to be logged on to Webtorials.Com.  If you have a valid email address and cannot log on, go back to situation #2 above and get a working username and password.

6) Can I use this process to UNregister at Webtorials.Com?

It's hard to admit, but occasionally there are people for whom Webtorials.Com just isn't a fit.

If you want to remove yourself from our system, simply log on click here and don't complete the registration form after unregistering.  This will also remove you from our email database.

To access this process, you will have to be logged on to Webtorials.Com.  If you have a valid email address and cannot log on, go back to situation #2 above and get a working username and password.

7) What do I do if none of the above work?

We've tested the above procedures extensively, and we think they work well.  But if you're still having problems, please send email to help@webtorials.com.
