2014 WebRTC State-of-the-Market Report

This Webtorials State-of-the-Market Report examines who is already using WebRTC-- and who plans to use it in the coming year.  The report also looks at which applications will need WebRTC support, who users are counting on as partners to deploy WebRTC, and what barriers need to be addressed for WebRTC to move forward.  Among the key findings: 43% of respondents are either using WebRTC today, or plan to use it within the next 12 months.

WebRTC has another competitor (of sorts). Today Skype announced free group video calls for up to ten participants (though five is the recommended maximum.) And Google Hangouts allegedly works with multi-party video. Of course, the big advantage of WebRTC is that is doesn't require a specific client. Thoughts on how these options stack up?
