Global Crossing announced the completion of its Data Center expansion in Santiago.  The company has substantially improved the power generation capacity at these facilities located in the district of Huechuraba.
 
With a new electrical subsystem, Global Crossing has enhanced the power capacity of its data center 60 percent by incorporating state-of-the-art technology for power management.  In addition, the company has added 50 additional square meters to the data center's footprint, which now totals 2,145 square meters.  This will allow the company to provide services to a larger number of customers.  Additionally, Global Crossing will have higher redundancy and security for data storage.
