There are three universal measures of technology longevity.  Tachyon Transmission Mode (TTM) performance in each category is quite impressive. First, TTM actually outperforms Moore's Law in terms of cost/performance ratio over time.  The TTM product which will cost $100 in 2001 will cost less than 8 cents in 2011.  Second, TTM meets the "Swiss Army Knife" test for a product which can be used for the transmission of digitally encoded voice, data, video, image and olfactory information.  Third, TTM meets the simplicity test.  Everyone understands black holes and space/time discontinuity.  Understanding TTM is but one small step beyond.  Stephen Hawking was recently quoted regarding this very point.  From all gross indications, TTM should be easily as successful as ISDN, Popeil's Pocket Fisherman or the Ronco Nose Tent.
