Michael O'Brien is the IT Director for the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). Overseeing IT operations for 8 international offices, he is currently developing the GMF Global Network - a two-year, five phase plan that will modernize GMF's systems and create a single unified network.

Michael specializes in running medium-sized IT operations, and integrating IT systems with the strategic direction of the organization. Along with network design, he is known for his work in the world of CRMs, often giving talks on how to successfully launch a new CRM and maintain good data quality.
